Parkview Health opened a new $4.7 million, 34,000 sf, expansion of the SportONE Fieldhouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  The facility expansion boasts new multi-purpose athletic sporting and training areas with additional basketball, volleyball, Futsal, and pickleball courts.  Additionally, open gym areas offer walking and other exercise opportunities.  Observer viewing has been expanded with the addition of a mezzanine overseeing new courts with viewing windows onto existing courts.

The venue offers two (2) high school regulation basketball courts, two (2) regulation volleyball courts, two (2) regulation Futsal courts, six (6) regulation pickleball courts, and various practice courts on hardwood floors.  11 additional restrooms (eight public) with two (2) personal showers have been added to the facility.

Athletes with Purpose (AWP) located on the first floor provides a state of the art weights and agility areas separate from the open gym with a sport turf sprint track.  AWP also offers performance training classes for adults. The weights area sports a 10mm MONDO rubber flooring system to withstand heavy use.  AWP has its own dedicated entrance and reception area/ lobby.

Parkview Athletic Rehabilitation (PAR) located on the mezzanine provides performance training classes and offices.

Parkview Ortho Express (Parkview Sports Medicine) is a 4,000 sf clinic that offers care for all types of musculoskeletal injuries, with an emphasis on sports medicine.  Additional services include physical therapy, sports nutrition counseling, dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (iDXA) body composition analysis and referrals to orthopedic specialists. The clinic includes four (4) exam rooms, a physical therapy gym, six (6) treatment tables, consult and radiology rooms, and a cold whirlpool tank.
