This 110,000 square foot facility is a three level Health and
Wellness Center for the entire community which includes a
natatorium, running track, locker facilities, weight training, licensed
day care, gymnasium, outdoor playground, indoor racquetball,
meeting spaces, aerobics rooms for large and small groups,
multipurpose space and administrative offices. This project
was designed to meet the current national
YWCA philosophy which is to "get away from the fitness
business"
(only) and focus on women’s services and child care. |
