With the many advances in technology and need for advanced imaging or radiation therapy, hospitals are converting space in their existing facilities and providing room for often large and highly sensitive equipment.  Many of these small projects required a careful  study of the existing structure for physical loading and shielding capabilities, power capacity requirements of the existing hospital, careful planning of the existing space where other functions need to move, and logistics study for moving such equipment through other areas of the hospital to the location.  All of these projects were both designed and built on tight budgets, short time frames and a necessity for attention to detail.
