This
freestanding ambulatory surgical center consists of medical
office space as well as endoscopy procedure and recovery areas.
The welcoming reception area is central to both entities and
accommodates up to 30 patients. Three large endoscopy suites
with specialized equipment serve five physicians and two nurse
practitioners. The large nursing station is surrounded by 12
recovery units providing nursing staff direct access to each
patient. A large mural in the reception area was inspired by
the leaf motif embossed metal laminate that was incorporated in
the design of the reception area.
